Reconvened Annual Member Meeting and Board Election
Section 4.6 of the Association’s bylaws requires 30% of the members to attend the Annual Meeting (or submit a proxy) for any business to be conducted. If a quorum is not present at the annual meeting held in October, the meeting will be adjourned and reconvened immediately before the November Board of Directors’ meeting. At the reconvened meeting, the members present in person or by proxy will constitute a quorum in accordance with Md. Corp. and Assoc. Code § 5-206 and Section 4.7 of the bylaws of the Association, and the members present may take any action that could have been taken at the original meeting had a quorum been present.
November Board Meeting & Election of Officers
The Board of Directors will discuss and vote on the 2014 budget at its November meeting. In addition to approving the Association’s 2014 budget, the Board of Directors will elect the Association’s officers at its November meeting. The Board will also discuss the general business and affairs of the Association and consider any pending applications for exterior alteration. If you would like for your application to be considered at the meeting, please submit it to Tidewater Property Management no later than November 4, 2013. If you would like to be considered for an officer position, please plan to attend the meeting.
