Neighbors,

I believe in the power of a community that works together and harnesses each other's strengths to build a better neighborhood. I think it's crazy that my wife and I have lived here for almost two years and we really do not have a relationship with any of our neighbors. There have been times when I have forgotten to close the garage door, lock the front door, or turn off a light before going on vacation. If only I had known one of my neighbors enough to call them and ask them to help me out.

I would like to take this time to introduce myself and offer some of my skills to help out my neighbors in any way possible. My name is Colby and my wife's name is Shannon. I consider myself mechanically inclined and like building things and doing home improvement projects. I did our crown molding myself so I have a compound miter saw and know how to use it. I also have a good understanding of electrical work as I worked as an electrician in high school. I do most of the work on my cars myself and I am restoring an old motorcycle right now. I can help move heavy objects as well as I have a healthy back. We have a generator that we bought after we lost power for a week. I love animals and wouldn't mind helping out with pets in emergencies.
